Prepare to Lounge!
The Cook/Douglass Computing Center is pleased to announce the Loree Laptop Lounge, a new collaborative and relaxing work environment in Loree. Like the Alcove on College Avenue, this work space gives students and staff a comfortable area to work and collaborate. This lounge serves as a simplified work area for students with laptops and is located in the heart of the computer lab close to always helpful lab consultants and University facilities.
What can you expect to find in the Laptop Lounge?
- Tables for plenty of collaborative workspace
- Plenty of power outlets and RU-Wireless connectivity for your laptop
- Couch and lounge area
- Comfortable seating within an environment that promotes productivity and collaboration
- Relaxing natural view and bright lighting

As you can see, the Laptop Lounge is a pleasant break from traditional workspaces. The homey atmosphere and comfortable accomodations make schoolwork enjoyable for students and staff alike.
